Abstract
The friction and wear tests of the self lubricating bearing made of carbon fiber reinforced copper matrix composite materials are arranged by uniform design that can greatly reduce the test duration. According to the theory of the reliability design, the R p v curves and their calculating procedures are set up at different critical values of the wear rate of the self lubricating bearing. Thus the guidance to designing of the bearing made of the composite material is provided together with reliable statistical result of the wear test data.
