Regression Analysis of Micro-Friction and Wear on Concave Non-smooth Surface

  • Experiment optimum design theory was employed to design experiment scheme,and a two levels orthogonal table-L_(16)(2~(15)) was adopted in the experiments.Micro-friction and wear experiments of samples with concave non-smooth surface were conducted.Experiment data were processed through multiple element linear regression and orthogonal design.Regression equations between volume wear rate,friction coefficient and experimental factors(such as size,distance,velocity,and load) of samples with concave non-smooth surface wereobtained.Experimental factors affecting wear rate in volume are,in a sequence of contribution,load,velocity,size and distance.The wear rate increased with distance,velocity and load increasing,but decreased with non-smooth unit size increasing,there is less mutual effect of distance and velocity.The experimental factors affecting friction coefficient are,in a sequence of contribution,load,velocity,distance and size,but friction coefficient decreased with distance,velocity and load increasing,there is less mutual effect of distance,velocity and load were.
