Abstract
Tribological tests were performed to evaluate the feasible self-repairing conditions of nanometer zinc as additive on a HQ-1 wear machine , making use of uniform design method. The results were regression analyzed by Windows SPSS statistics software. Thus a mathematical model was established to correlate automatic restoration capability with load, slide velocity, concentration and repairing time.Programming solver to find feasible self-repairing conditions, and tested to verify its accuracy. While the surface morphologies of the forward and after test blocks under different test conditions were observed on surface finish measuring instrument and scanning electron microscope. It is found that the regression formulae had prominence and statistical validity. Apparatus test results and self-repairing effect were in good agreement. The results of the analysis can provide useful guidelines for the establishment of feasible self-repairing conditions.
