Wear Resistance of Ferrous SMA

Experimental study of wear resistace has been made on ferrous (Fe 30Mn 6Si) shape memory alloy (SMA) under the conditions of sliding and rolling friction. The results show that the anti wear ability of ferrous SMA is poor under the sliding condition and good under the rolling condition. Some specific properties of SMA have been introduced as well.
