Advances in Tribological Investigation of Self-assembled Monolayers

The state of the art and recent progress in the tribological investigation of self assembled monolayers (SAMs) have been summarized with focus on introducing the research progress about the relationship between the structure and tribological behavior of SAMs. The subjects for further work in future are suggested as well.
