Research Progress in Tribology of Lubricating Grease under Axial Current

Generator and motor are one of the most commonly used power equipment. Motor bearing grease is the key to ensure the stable and efficient operation of motor. Under the action of shaft current, the performance of motor bearing grease deteriorates, which will lead to bearing failure. This paper introduces the generation and harm of motor bearing shaft current, and analyzes the performance and function of motor bearing grease. This paper focuses on how to prevent and suppress the damage of the bearing caused by the shaft current, and points out the problems that need to be solved and the future development trend of the motor bearing grease.
