Abstract
The micro-structures and anti-adhesion characteristics under different angles of molten metal droplets (Al) were studied for the high temperature self-lubricating Ni-Ni-WSe2-BaF2·CaF2-Y-Ag-hBN coatings prepared by plasma spray. The results show that the friction coefficients of self-lubricant coatings were between 0.086 and 0.299 at 30~800 ℃. The viscosity corrosion rate of molten metal drops on the coating increased with increase of the deposition angle. At 90°, the average deposition rate of the metal droplets (Al) on the coating and the substrate surface reached the highest values, i.e. 176.22 mg/(cm2·s) for the steel substrate. The average deposition rate of self-lubricating coating containing hBN was as low as 58 mg/(cm2·s). The hBN effectively reduced the adhesion of Al drops to the coating as indicated by the rate of the polishing and stripping.
