Slurry Erosion Wear Behaviors of Chlorinated Rubber Paint

This paper was aiming at studying the erosion wear behaviors and mechanism of chlorinated rubber paint in seawater of different angles of impingement and sea sand concentration. The results show that the maximum erosion wear of chlorinated rubber paint occurred at impingement angle of 67.5°,while the minimum erosion wear of its happened at impingement angle of 22.5°。And the erosion wear in different angles of impingement were increasing gradually with the increase of sand concentration. And the damage form of chlorinated rubber paint were mainly composed of cutting and plough at the low angles of impingement, while at high angles of impingement, the damage form of its were mainly composed of deformation and gouge.
