Analysis of Electromagnetic Induction Torque of the Pin and Disk during Friction Process under DC Magnetic Field

  • In order to study the effect of magnetic field on the friction and wear properties,the eddy current and electromagnetic induction of the pin and disk during friction process under DC magnetic field were analyzed,and the calculation formula of induction torque was obtained by integration. When the gap between the pin and disk was 0.1 mm,the magnetic attraction force and the induction torques on the disk sample under different test conditions were measured. By using the test data,the correction coefficient of the induction torque formula was fitted by the least square method,and the calculation results of the induced torque formula were in good agreement with the test data which were detected under different current and speed conditions. In the process of friction and wear,the induced torque formula can be used to calculate the induced torque on the disk under the corresponding test conditions,then the influence of the induced torque on the friction coefficient can be analyzed.
