Abstract:
A new cover rate prediction model of lubrication film has been developed based on the characteristics of the elevated temperature gland composite With the fractal surface generated by generalized W-M function , the effects of surface roughness , environmental temperature and structural parameters of the self -lubricating material on the cover rate of lubrication film were discussed Results indicated that the cover rate grew with the increasing of matrix porosity , lubricants infiltration depth and environmental temperature and the decreasing of surface roughness The model provided a clew for the lubrication controlling of the elevated temperature gland composite and its friction couples design
