一类反常弹流油膜出现的实验研究

Experimental Study of an Abnormal EHL Film with Inlet-dimples

  • 摘要: 采用光干涉法对球-圆盘和椭圆滚子-圆盘形成弹流油膜的凹陷现象进行研究.结果表明:凹陷只存在于一定的速度范围内,并受到载荷、卷吸方向及运动条件的影响;在速度-载荷关系曲线上,凹陷出现区域为一开放的三角形;润滑油的极限剪应力特性及其诱发的界面滑移为凹陷产生的原因.

     

    Abstract: Using optical interferometry, elastohydrodynmic lubrication of films with an inlet-dimple was studied experimentally under ball-on-disc and spherical roller-on-disc contacts. The results show that the dimple only apwithin a limited entrainment speed range, and this speed range was influenced by applied loads, the entrainment direction and the kinematic condition. The occurrence regime of the dimple had a triangular shape in terms of load versus speed. The observed inlet dimple can be tentatively interpreted by limiting shear stress or wall slippage.
