Abstract:
Based on high-speed mechanical lubrication and social requirements of energy saving and environmental protection, micro-lubrication technology has developed rapidly, and how to ensure the lubrication effectiveness of the contact zone has become the key. It is found that after a certain amount of stearic acid is added to the base oil, the track lubricating oil shows a certain anti-wettability, and the trace lubricating oil is distributed like oil droplets, which could achieve the purpose of improving lubricating efficiency. In view of this, a micro-lubrication model of point contact was established, and the influence of oil droplet on contact lubrication was analyzed and compared with uniform oil supply and full oil supply. The results showed that the lubricating effect can be enhanced by the oil droplet supply under a certain amount of lubricating oil, but the synergistic effect was not uniform, and the lubrication state of the contact zone will showed a certain fluctuation due to the discontinuous oil droplet supply. Compared with the uniform distribution of oil, the lubricating efficiency of oil droplet supply will be affected by the distribution of oil droplet, and the improper selection of working parameters will even lose its lubricating efficiency advantage. The theoretical results can provide data reference for the design of micro-lubrication efficiency enhancement, and have certain technical guidance significance.
